What’s Happening At Central Square – June 20, 2011

 

The Big Minnesota Variety Show will be presented at Central Square on Wednesday, June 29 at 7:30pm. IT’S FREE!!! You will enjoy some outstanding entertainment featuring C. Willi Myles, a veteran stand-up comic and storyteller. A very funny guy who gives a unique spin to life’s everyday challenges. Next will be the Balance Boys and Hoop Girl, performing amazing physical feats like you’ve never seen before.

 

That performance will be followed by Divas through the Decades, singing and dancing songs made popular by the most influential female recording artists from the 40’s through today. This amazing Variety show is presented for all of Pope County residents, by The Vikingland Library System, the Glenwood Public Library and Central Square.   Because this activity is made possible in part by a grant from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Legacy Grant, made possible by the voters of Minnesota we all have a chance to enjoy these unique performances. Remember there is no cost for admission. It’s a fun and free event for everyone. For more information, call the Library or Central Square.
